Boys Soccer: Regional Champs

Bethany boys soccer team walked away from Laville Saturday night as repeat Regional champions.

With Andrew Snyder (‘13) scoring three goals and Josh Stoltzfus (‘13) netting two, the boys beat Michigan City Marquette 5-2. Goalkeeper Trent Yoder (‘15) had three saves out of five shots on goal.
As quoted in the Goshen News, coach Mark Yoder said “We graduated some good players from last year’s team, but we still have a lot of seniors with a lot of experience. A number of them have been through this before.”

And they have, making it to the Final Four last year, getting beat by Fort Wayne Canterbury in the second round of semi-state. This year, the Bruins match up with Canterbury again on Saturday in a chance for redemption and victory.
