The High School Boy’s basketball team has their first game of the season tonight against Westview! JV starts at 6:00 PM followed by the varsity. The theme for the game is Blueout, so make sure to represent!
We’re also very excited to welcome our new head coach, Eric Gingerich! In reference to how he believes this season will go, he has said, “We have a lot of work to do to be at the level of play we want to be. If our players will commit to working hard every day on the smallest of details, I believe we could surprise some teams that don’t expect us to be any good on the court. We want teams to walk away from a game with us, no matter what the result, saying, “Man those guys from Bethany play really hard, play really smart, and they do everything for each other.” We have a fantastic group of guys and more than anything, I know we will grow as men both on and off the court. If we can improve consistently throughout the season, grow as men, and do all of this with class, respect, and great character, we will have had a successful season.“
