Second semester is here and so are some new students! Kaci Marie Yoder (‘18), Israel David Mujica Vincent (‘18), and Jacob Ross Bedwell (‘17) all joined the BCHS roster this semester.
Kaci was born in Glendale, Arizona. She enjoys tacos and singing. Her favorite book is Paper Towns by John Green and it’s adaptation on the big screen. Her future husband is Zac Efron. Her role models would be her mom and her mentor Beth. Kaci’s transition to Bethany has been really smooth. What makes it easier for her are some students she’s met previously.
Israel (Izzy) looks up to Michael Jordan and Steve Jobs. He, like Kaci, enjoys tacos. His favorite color is lime green and his celebrity crush is Mila Kunis. Izzy was born Caracas, Venezuela and loves watching the Breakfast Club. One of his favorite artist is J.Cole. He likes to skateboard in his free time. Izzy thinks “it’s cool that we can call teachers by their first name.”
Jacob (Jake) transferred from Northridge High School. He was born in Defiance, Ohio. In his free time he enjoys sleeping and playing the guitar. Jake’s friends would describe him as pretty laid back, His favorite snack is toaster strudels and he enjoys Italian food. Jake’s role model is his uncle. Jake also listens to Drake and his favorite movie is Expendables.
You might catch Kaci in the next choir concert. You might see Jake and Izzy play baseball together this spring. Whether it’s in the hallway, on the field or on stage make sure to say “Hi!” and welcome our new students.
