New Students (Part One)

The 2016/17 school year is off to a great start! We have quite a few new high school students that we would like to introduce to you this year! Some of which include David Bontrager (’18), Kate Ramirez Ingold (’18), Carlos Cortez Garcia (’18), Malachi Lind (’20), and Jim Lyu (’20). David was born in Elkhart, Indiana. He doesn’t have a favorite animal, but he does like the color orange and his favorite subject in school is chemistry. This year, David is looking forward to being away from his old school and having a fresh start here at Bethany.11_bontrager-david

Malachi was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. His favorite animal is the black bear, and his favorite color is also orange. Malachi enjoys algebra, and is looking forward to making new friends working hard, and staying on top of his homework this year.09_lind-malachi

Kate was born in Goshen, Indiana. Her favorite animal is the red panda, and her favorite color is blue. Kate likes history class, and is looking forward to making friends here at Bethany.11_ramirez-ingold-kate

Jim was born in China. His favorite animal is a dog, and his favorite color is blue. He enjoys math class, and is looking forward to making friends at Bethany this year.09_lyu-jim

Carlos was born in El Salvador. He doesn’t really have a favorite animal, but his favorite color is green. He doesn’t really have a favorite subject, and he’s not sure what he’s looking forward to this year. However, I know that we are excited to have him with us this school year!11_cortez-garcia-carlos
