Looking Forward to Senior Year

With school ending this Friday, many juniors at Bethany are looking forward to their senior year. We only have one year of high school left, and then we graduate and get to move on to do different things and experience a new learning environment. The class of 2018 is looking forward to this final year for several different reasons. I asked a few different students what they personally were looking forward to about senior year. This is what they had to say:

Abby Rudy-Froese said that she was looking forward to her senior year because she can take fewer classes, and some of them are easier than the classes she has had to take this year. After the stress that junior year brings, having these classes is a welcome relief.

Joel Yoder says that he is the most excited for senior year because our large class can finally have dominion over the couches. Couches have been a touchy subject for the junior class, as we have had hardly enough space on them for our class and have been trying to steal senior couches all year long.

Personally, I am excited for senior year because I am ready to graduate. I have had many great experiences at Bethany, and know that next year will bring many more. However, I’m excited to get to move on when this is all over, and experience new things.

Graduating or not, I hope everyone has something that they’re looking forward to for the 2017-2018 school year. Whether it’s a new class you’re excited to take, a sport you’re looking forward to playing, or even if you’re coming into high school for the first time, there are plenty of things to be excited about for next year. Have a fantastic summer!
