Bethany’s Random Survey

There are some questions that are sometimes hidden, so since I wanted to know Bethany a little better, I went ahead and asked some of these questions. I interviewed people from each grade level and a few teachers, just so that the responses had variety. Here is the interview and people’s responses.

“What are some of the things that you are looking forward to this year?”

Sherry Good replied,  “[I look forward to] getting to know the students and faculty at Bethany, maybe going with the bicycle J-Term trip next summer.”

Mags Dutchersmith (‘16) listed, “Drama, musical, emmaus, tennis, friends, alternative school days (fun days).”

“There are some schools that started after Labor Day whereas Bethany started on August 9. What are your opinions on some people getting a longer summer?”

Ryan Miller (‘14) replied, “I would like them to tell me how school in June is.”

Vashti Neff (‘15) mentioned, “ I’d rather start early and get out early rather than start late and end late.”

“Describe your life in one sentence.”

Craig Mast quotes Ke$ha, “You don’t have to carry a designer bag that costs more than a car to look cool.”

Alicia Thomas (‘16) stated, “Dead boring – Save me!”

Aaron Maust (‘14) exclaimed, “It’s like world war five– so epic that it skips over world wars 3 and 4 it’s so epic.”

“What is your favorite restaurant in Goshen?”

Hannah Yeakey (‘17) commented, “I’m really excited to go to the new noodle shop where Il Forno used to be. I love asian food!”

Mags Ductchersmith (‘16) exclaimed, “Los Primos!”

“If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be?”

Aaron Maust (‘14) suggested, “A dragon.”

Olivia Copsey (‘15) asked, “Can I ride it? Giraffe.”

Nahshon Lora (‘15) stated, “A tiger like Mike Tyson.”

“Who is your role model?”

Mags Dutchersmith, (‘16) mentioned, “Everyone who is awesome…too many people to name.”

Olivia Copsey (‘15) said, “Karen Gillan, I’ve always wanted to be a ginger, or Anne Frank.”

“If you were given the opportunity to travel anywhere, all expenses paid, where would you go? This can be places in books too, not from this world.”

Olivia Copsey (‘15) said, “England because all the book places I want to go to are from there. (Harry Potter, Narnia, Doctor Who and Sherlock.)”

Mags Dutchersmith (‘16) stated, “every country in South and Central America and Mexico.”

Nahshon Lora (‘15) mentioned, “North Korea.”

As you can see, these questions are completely random and so are the responses. These questions will give the student body a better view on what the people at Bethany are really like.
