Journal of Subject B23

The following are translations of journal entries written by test subject B23, key information on the test and subject have been redacted as to allow public access to the transcript. Subject B23 is not aware that he is involved in a test and believes he is stuck in the school.

Day 1

I’ve been trapped at the school for about a week or so, lost track of time because in the weeks we have not been in school I have forgotten how to read. I’ve created my own language to write this journal and hopefully when I escape this dreaded confine I can teach others so they may know the struggles I have been through. All is not lost however, if it were any average student trapped in the school then they surely wouldn’t have survived.

I have built myself a fort from the junior couches. This is where I spend the cold nights.

Day 3

I’m starting to get the feeling I’m not alone. Just today in fact I found evidence of other living people, food and wrappers. After quickly devouring the remains I started to get the feeling I was being watched

Day 4

My suspicions were correct, early this morning I smelled food, not just any food, but food from the outside. How I miss the outside… as I left the safety of my dwelling to investigate I saw it, Ramen, and Popcorn. Was somebody leaving it for me? I can’t be sure for now.

Day 6

It was getting late into the afternoon and I was getting ready to start my cardboard fire for the night when I heard a strange noise, a choked gurgling sound coming from down the hall. I poked my head out of the dwelling to see if I could catch a glimpse from there but I only saw a silhouette.

I must have scared the thing because it scuttled up against the wall and hid away in a loose ceiling tile. Safe to say I was spooked, I don’t know how to explain what I saw but I knew I needed to be ready.

Day 7

I don’t know how to explain what I saw but I knew I needed to be ready. I set up a trap using the cardboard from the cardboard room and a mouse I had hunted earlier that morning. Once the trap was set I waited till nightfall for when the thing seemed most active.

Day 8

I don’t know what time it was when I heard the trap go off. With a loud slap of the cardboard mechanism and the choked cry of the thing, I jumped into action. I ran out of my dwelling just as the creature escaped my trap. Using a net I had made out of trash bags I was able to subdue the beast but not after it inflicted quite the nasty bite on me.

Day 10

I feel tired now, I think it’s because of the bite that thing gave me, there was a tag on the creature which was strange, it says: [Redacted]

Day 11

I found a camera in the hallway, I never noticed it before. Must be nothing.

Day 12

They have stopped leaving me food whoever they are. I’m really starting to miss the cup ramen and granola bars that they left by my dwelling but that’s fine. I have created a good way of capturing rodents, the small mice have been giving me the sustenance I require.

Day 13

I have developed more symptoms. I can’t seem to catch my breath or shake this nasty fever, and this stuped cough as well.

Day 14

I’m too weak to hunt and my cough scares any of the mice I try to catch from my traps, I only hope to write everything down so when I’m found they will know what happened here.
