The Oscars are coming up, and it can be hard to tell who you should put your money on. With so many good movies and actors out there, choosing the best ones can be difficult. Fortunately for you, honorary Sightline staffer Raz Schrock, aka my dog, claims he can predict the Oscars with 100% accuracy. Check out his picks:

Best Picture

Raz chose Gravity, a space-themed thriller. An interesting choice. Not what I would have gone with, but whatever…

Best Actor in a Leading Role

Leonardo DiCaprio? Really? I mean, I think he deserves an Oscar as much as the next guy, but that doesn’t mean I’d actually pick him to win. Raz really needs to bone up (get it?) on his Oscar history.

Best Actress in a Leading Role

Amy Adams is a pick I could get behind, but at this point I’m wondering if Raz is really aware of what he’s doing. It seems to me as if he’s only in it for the treats. How shallow.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role

I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t yet seen Twelve Years a Slave, but I’d say Michael Fassbender was probably a good choice. Then again, maybe not. I have no idea.

Best Actress in a Supporting Role

I don’t even know who June Squibb is, but Raz’s confident pick sure has convinced me. She’ll definitely win!

So there you have it: Sightline’s Oscar picks, courtesy of Raz!
